Eyes On Satellites
Eyes On Satellites formed in the beginning of 2014 with the idea that we, as humans, are equal and we all have a voice. That idea becomes very clear when listening to the band's debut EP, Explorations. Each member brings a musical style and influence all their own. With all five members coming from different corners of the musical macrocosm, hints of almost all genres can be heard. This amalgamation of different styles forms the unique sound of Eyes On Satellites.
Over the course of 2014, the band carved out a sound that would become Eyes On Satellites. After painstakingly writing, abandoning, and rewriting music, five songs were chosen to represent the band in their first EP.
On January 1st, 2015, Eyes on Satellites released their debut EP Explorations. The EP was recorded at Willhaven Studios and Mixed/Mastered by John Naclerio (My Chemical Romance, Brand New, Senses Fail) at NADA Recording Studio.
Mark Rohrer and Alex Oatman had been playing together in different bands throughout high school. After Mark graduated high school however, He and Alex decided to start their own project. This two-piece project would later be known as Two Hours. In this project, Mark and Alex switch back and forth between fronting the band and playing drums. They finished recording their first record in early 2016 and released it on Nov. 6, 2016.
