Known for their progressive song writing and energetic live performances, Mo Lowda & The Humble's beginnings were in the beer-soaked basements of Philadelphia. Following the release of their first full length album in 2013, the trio, consisting of Jordan Caiola, Shane Woods, and Nate Matulis began playing venues throughout the city. After experiencing the high of multiple sold out hometown shows, Mo Lowda took their act on the road. 2015 was highlighted by shows throughout the country and plays at notable summer festivals such as Firefly. The band's 2016 sophomore release, 'Act Accordingly', is a short and sweet embodiment of the band's natural progression; refining their already formidable sound. In February, Jeff Lucci stepped in as the new bassist, bringing his unique songwriting and tasteful use of effects pedals into the mix. Mo Lowda will begin demo-ing for a new record this fall.

Iron Eyes Cody

(facebook)

Iron Eyes Cody was started in 2013 when Evan Allis shared a handful of songs he had written with a few close friends at Middlebury College. Wacky jams in a biomass plant soon turned to focus and careful refinement in the studio. A string of regular shows across the northeast were to follow. With a hodgepodge of instruments at the band’s disposal, Allis’ music ranges from haunting folk to electrifying rock. Immediate accessibility belies intense imagery and melodic nuance.

Their debut release, “Goodness All Good Saints Have Died,” was released in January 2016 on Future Fields. They currently live in Burlington, Vermont.

Each set is personal and full of emotion, as the band strives to connect with the audience to truly feel the music.

As they maintain a busy performance schedule, they also have plans to release a new album this coming year. One thing is for sure, with the passion of blending songwriting and powerful rock grooves, Joon looks forward to evolving their sound and will continue to bring the house down.
