The Responders are a five-piece indie blues-rock group with deep roots in the Boston and Providence areas. The band formed from a trio of musically-inclined high school friends from Rochester, MA and a brother-sister group from Bristol, RI. They write original music spanning a number of genres; their upbeat pop and disco songs get the crowd moving, and their mid-tempo rock tunes bring them back down.

In addition to their originals, The Responders perform a wide range of covers from well-known artists such as Paul McCartney, The Strokes, Stevie Wonder, Adele, and The Rolling Stones. They play throughout the New England area and have performed at a multitude of venues, including the Middle East Corner in Cambridge, The Eagle in Fall River, and Aurora in Providence. Whether it be a concert hall or dive bar, The Responders’ improvisational style allows them to tailor their set to any crowd.
